The Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's largest consumer tech conference, hosted from January 9 to 12 in Las Vegas, the U.S., from January 9 to 12, drew more than 130,000 attendees and over 4,000 exhibitors from more than 150 countries and regions.

Chinese technology companies have made a prominent comeback at the 2024 CES. Over 1,100 Chinese exhibitors from various categories in the consumer electronic industries are estimated to attend the four-day event, more than doubling from last year, according to data released by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of CES.

They include well-known brands like Lenovo, BOE, Hisense and TCL, as well as robot companies such as Dreame and Yarbo, and electric vehicle (EV) companies.

TCL, for instance, presented its portfolio of innovative technologies across multiple categories, including the world's largest QD-Mini LED TV and one of the industry's first smart connected mobile device entertainment solutions.

Chinese startups in the EV industry also made a mark at CES 2024. U POWER has offices in both China and the U.S. The company's Cargo Van product received 53,000 orders from the US, Japan, the EU and the Southeast Asia.

"China is a leader in the EV industry. We also want to help other global players excel in this industry," Paul Li, founder and CEO of U POWER, told China Daily.
